Walter Mosley will speak at CNU on October 28, 2008.
The Virginia Festival of the Book will be March 18 - 22, 2009 in Charlottesville, VA. Authors will be announced September 23, 2008.

NNMSA History

The Newport News Medical Society Alliance (NNMSA) Book Club first met in September 1992. We started as an interest group for those of us who were volunteers for the Alliance, yet we also were readers. We have met monthly (except July and August) since then and have read hundreds of books! We usually meet on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 9:30 AM in members' homes. We pick our books democratically, as everyone seems to have an opinion! There are about 40 people on our mailing list and we usually have about 20 members at each meeting. From simple readers, we have evolved into a healthy and vibrant reading group, and we now call ourselves true friends.
